Patient aged 38 years old came to our clinic with a complaint of discomfort in chewing the food because of long term lower missing molar tooth which was removed 2 years back due to painful grossly decayed.

EXAMINATION:

On radiological &  clinical examination the space (mesio distal width) of the missing molar area is less than 10mm because of drifting of adjacent teeth & sufficient bone present to place the implant.

Treatment Plan : 

.We advised single basal implant placement with CAD CAM Acrylic crown  & after 6 months need to change permanent crown.

   SINGLE  BASAL  IMPLANT  PLACED

 

BASAL  IMPLANT  – LATERAL VIEW

 

TREATMENT  DONE :

DAY 1:    1)  Single Basal implant placed in the missing molar region  under local anesthesia

2)Intraoral scanning done for CAD CAM PMMA.

3)Post operative instructions given

 DAY 2 : CAD CAM PMMA fixed & on the day itself patient started to chewing food & felt comfortable with the chewing.
